Ingredients

  • 2 onions
  • 1 tea glass of flour
  • 1 tea glass of corn starch
  • 1 egg
  • 1 bottle of mineral water (200 ml)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups cornflakes
  • 1.5 cups of oil

Instructions

  1. 1

These onion rings, which are seasoned with the ingredients in the recipe and have a crispy texture, are very delicious, but can they be made without sauce? Let's have a gift of homemade mayonnaise sauce on the side. Then you are invited to a delicious snack recipe.

  2. 2

Carefully peel off the skins of the onions from which you removed the ends. Slice the peeled onions into rings, half a centimeter thick. Separate each onion slice into its own rings.

  3. 3

Add flour and starch to a deep bowl.

  4. 4

Coat the onion rings in the flour and starch mixture. Shake gently to remove excess and place them all on a plate.

  5. 5

Add one egg to the remaining portion of the flour and starch mixture you used to coat the onion rings and mix. Then add salt and mineral water. Mix until you get a smooth consistency.

  6. 6

Prepare the corn flakes and egg mixture that you have ground to flour consistency using a rondo. For the crispy coating, first coat it in egg mixture and then coat it well with corn flakes.

  7. 7

Follow the same process for all onion rings.

  8. 8

Add oil to a wide-based pan and heat the oil well. Fry the onion rings in the heated oil, stirring occasionally with a colander, until they turn golden brown.

  9. 9

Leave the fried onions on paper towels for a short time to release excess oil and serve them with your favorite sauces. Enjoy your meal.
