Ingredients

  • 1kg apricots
  • 2.5 cups of granulated sugar
  • 5-6 drops of lemon juice

Instructions

  1. 1

The best moment of the day is when you spread fragrant jam or marmalade on a warm slice of bread and eat the butter that will slowly melt on the bread. These moments of joy, with few ingredients but lots of happiness, turn into even greater pleasure when you prepare them at home. Especially if one of our heroes is a slightly sugary, aromatic apricot marmalade, happiness is guaranteed with every spoon.

  2. 2

We buy fresh apricots that beautify the tree branches in season. We turn it into a delicious marmalade without waiting too long, without using too much sugar, and with the support of cinnamon and cloves. Let us leave you with this recipe, which you can use in your cookies and cakes, or for breakfast, or whenever you want something sweet. Have fun.

  3. 3

Wash the apricots and cut them in half with the help of a knife. Separate the apricot seeds.

  4. 4

Then place the apricots separated from their seeds in a deep pot. Then place the pot on the stove and close the lid.

  5. 5

When the apricots start to boil, add 2 and a half cups of granulated sugar. Stir 3-4 times until the sugar dissolves. Cook until the apricots are very soft.

  6. 6

After the apricots are soft enough, blend them thoroughly. Pour the juice of half a lemon onto the apricot marmalade blended and mix.

  7. 7

Continue boiling for up to 5 minutes.

  8. 8

After the apricot marmalade is cooked, pour it into jars while it is hot and close the lids tightly. Immediately afterwards, turn the jars upside down while they are still hot. Leave it like this until it cools down completely. Enjoy your meal.

  9. 9

Of course, it is not necessary to peel the apricots when making apricot marmalade. If you wish, you can easily peel the apricots by keeping them in boiling water.

  10. 10

Boil for at least 60 minutes. You can boil it over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it thickens.
