Ingredients

  • 1 medium sized cauliflower
  • 1 bottle of soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons of flour
  • 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons corn flour
  • 1/2pack baking powder
  • 1.5 tablespoons of yoghurt
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon powdered turmeric

Instructions

    Wash the cauliflower in plenty of water, remove the root part and clean the leaves, and separate it into small florets.

    Boil it in boiling water for about 10 minutes until it loses its firmness.

    Strain the water and let it cool at room temperature, then remove excess water with a paper towel.

    In a deep bowl; Mix eggs, yoghurt, flour, baking powder, breadcrumbs, corn flour, chili pepper, salt, black pepper and powdered turmeric until a smooth consistency is achieved. Add the soda last and mix.

    Add oil to a deep and wide pan and heat it. Dip the cooled and dried cauliflower into the mixture and throw it into the hot oil. When it turns golden brown, remove it from the oil and drain the excess oil. Place it on a tray lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.

    Serve with lemon, grated cheddar cheese or a yoghurt dipping sauce. Enjoy your meal!
