How to make Homemade Plain Cream?
Ingredients
- 4 cups of milk
- 3 tablespoons of flour
- 1.5 tablespoons of wheat starch
- 5 tablespoons of granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 50 grams of butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
If you wish, you can add different flavors such as lemon, cocoa and orange to this cream recipe to add flavor. Making your cream homemade will add a different flavor to it. Thank you in advance!
Place the sifted flour and corn starch in a deep pot. Add milk, egg, sugar and vanilla extract and mix all the ingredients with a mixer to prevent lumps.
Cook the cream mixture you put on the stove over low heat, stirring constantly.
Add butter to the thick cream mixture you took from the stove, mix it with a mixer and cool it.
You can put the cooled cream in a piping bag by mixing it in between to prevent it from forming a crust, and use it to decorate the top and middle layers of a wet cake.
